ArtEgg Studios is a multi-use commercial rental building in New Orleans. A former produce warehouse, ArtEgg has 50 unique studios for rent. Located in MidCity under the Broad Street Overpass. Second floor units generally have great light, original flooring and access to a paint sink and freight elevator. First floor units, many of which are old coolers, tend to be larger with access from front, side and back loading docks. ArtEgg is a great community with 24/7 access, break areas, common spaces and ample parking.

Our community is comprised of artists including: painters, photographers, sculptors and a separate building for musicians. We have a number of businesses at ArtEgg, comprised of nonprofits, small businesses, including a distillery and wine shoppe. All share a commitment to New Orleans and to culturally and environmentally sustainable development.

Devastated after Katrina, the once proud warehouse was totally renovated, restored and upgraded to include sustainable design features such as bamboo flooring, solar tracking skylights, solar tubes, energy efficient fixtures.  ArtEgg has an electic tenant mix including: art collections, artists,,filmmakers, musicians, set builders and offices for nonprofits and entrepreneurs. We are proud to be home to the Change for Development Foundation, the Clay Center of New Orleans and the Heritage Foundation for Arts and Cultural Sustainability. In addition, ArtEgg is home to N2N, a wine bar and shoppe and Atelier Vie, a distillery.

The lush permaculture garden on ArtEgg’s Earhart side was destroyed by Katrina and is now redesigned and again a great space for contemplation. There is the “trainquility garden”, beds where the distillery grows herbs and places to meet and relax.

As the neighborhood grows and develops, so too does ArtEgg. On Saturdays and Sundays from 10 - 2 Atelier Vie, is open to the public. N2N, the wine shoppe at ArtEgg is open noon - 8 pm Tuesday to Saturday. Please stop by and meet the proprietor Steve Bishoff who can also provide a tour of ArtEgg. Enjoy a glass of wine complements of ArtEgg when you take a tour.
