History Project Header Banner

Greetings Fellow Egg-heads! We’ve spent some time looking at the destruction and comeback of ArtEgg from hurricane Katrina. We’ll be going back to the more distant past when posting on the history project resumes October 1. ArtEgg’s historian, Laurel A. Dorrance, is now happily settled in her newly renovated apartment and will be heading back into the archives to discover more information about 1001 S. Broad Street to lay before you.

Also, ArtEgg and Laurel A. Dorrance is happy to announce that a lecture about ArtEgg will be held at the Cabildo, Tuesday, November 8, 2012, in the newly (and beautifully) renovated third floor of the building at 6 pm.

Best Wishes Egg-heads and see you in October!

Note: The location of the lecture has been changed to the old U. S. Mint at 400 Esplanade. Some kind of music festival is taking place on the same date at the Aresenal, conflicting with the lecture.

Here is a link put up by the Friends of the Cabildo for the lecture.
